Craft Cultura members Misael "Chico" Ramirez and Dr. Christian Ramirez were invited be keynote speakers at the 2022 UTRGV Latinx Graduate Symposium sponsored by the Center for Mexican American Studies.
The conference, "From Margin to Center: Voices from the Tejas/Mexico Borderlands" made room for various panels of borderland scholars to present their original research in a room full of graduate students, professors, and community members. Craft Cultura would like to thank Dr. Rosy Resendiz and all of the organizers for creating a space that centers our Chicanx/Latinx communities on the U.S.-Mexico borderlands and beyond.
