About Craft Cultura

C.R.A.F.T. (Creating Real Art For Tomorrow) Cultura is a Chicanx/Latinx civic organization located on the U.S.-Mexico border in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. The organization is a collective of writers, educators, artists, counselors, and everyday community members committed to building safe-spaces for marginalized communities of color to have their voices heard, valued, and celebrated. Craft Cultura engages residents by hosting free and culturally relevant events on an array of issues that impact communities on the borderlands and beyond. 

 

Our team consist of members with diverse backgrounds and experiences throughout South Texas. We center social justice as we collectively work to build a better tomorrow. We invite you to build community with us, come to one of our events, and join our organization. Together, we continue to Craft Cultura.
