Borderlands & Beyond: A discussion on Books, Incarcerated Youth, and Redemption with Dieter Cantu

On our first episode of Borderlands & Beyond, we welcome book advocate, philanthropist, and criminal justice organizer, Dieter Cantu. We will be discussing the connection between literature and incarcerated youth.

Dieter is the founder of Cantu’s Books to Incarcerated Youth Project which has expanded throughout the state of Texas. The purpose of this program is to make a variety of books readily available for the youth housed at various Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD) facilities. We will be raffling off a book at the end of our conversation so tune in and leave a comment/ask a question for your chance to win. To learn more about Dieter's work, visit dietercantu.com.
